Job summary

Walmart Global Tech is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead scalable, cloud-native platform capabilities across multiple teams. You will drive the full software development lifecycle, architect distributed systems for real-time data and AI/ML integration, and mentor engineers for maintainable, high-performing solutions.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, define success metrics, and champion innovation and operational excellence in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing and delivering cloud-native platforms and microservices.
• Proven ability to lead multiple teams and drive long-term technical strategy.
• Experience with AI/ML integration is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and mentorship capabilities.
