Job summary

Walmart Global Tech is seeking software engineers for the EBS - RiskTech team to design scalable REST API platforms and cloud-native microservices. You will collaborate across Walmart’s stores, eCommerce, and international teams to deliver innovative risk, compliance, and privacy solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on backend development, architecture ownership, and mentoring of engineers in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment.

Qualifications

• Expert in designing and implementing REST API web services using Spring Boot.
• Expert in backend development with Node.js, Java/J2EE, Spring, SQL, Hibernate, JavaScript, HTML.
• Expert in automated CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

• Define platform strategy and architecture for scalable development across teams.
• Collaborate with product management, program managers, and UX teams to translate requirements.
• Lead and mentor engineers, perform code reviews and design reviews.
• Hands-on development of n-tier applications using microservices and related technologies.
• Work in an agile environment with fast iteration and delivery.
