Jobot, a boutique private equity-backed firm in New York, seeks a Permanent Principal Software Engineer with strong Angular and C# skills (front-end lean). You will lead design and development of complex software, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive best practices in software engineering, including security and testing.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in software engineering, Azure cloud expertise, and finance/ PE exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 10 years as a Software Engineer with complex software experience.
• Strong Angular and C# experience (≥5 years each).
• Azure cloud expertise.
• Finance/ Private equity or similar industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on designing and developing complex software solutions.
• Strong Angular & C# experience (at least 5 years w/ each)
• Expertise in cloud computing platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Financial services industry experience, specifically private equity, hedge fund, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A passion for technology and a drive to stay abreast of emerging trends in software engineering.
