Medidata is seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer to lead the long-term technical direction for the Study Experience in a hybrid in-office setting in NJ/NY. The role focuses on scalable, secure, multi-region architectures and cross-team leadership while aligning with high-level product roadmaps and executive objectives.

The position reports to VP, Engineering and emphasizes mentorship of senior staff, implementation of SLOs and observability standards, and strategic decision-making

• Architect and deploy distributed environments for high availability, security, and cost-efficiency.
