Job summary
Cadence Design Systems is seeking a senior-level engineer to research, design, and develop advanced nonlinear finite element analysis technologies for MSC Nastran, Marc, and related simulation products. You will lead the creation of robust nonlinear analysis capabilities, validate algorithms, and contribute to high-quality software throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications
- Experience developing and implementing nonlinear FEA software.
- Strong programming skills in Fortran and C/C++.
- Experience with MSC Nastran, Marc, or similar FEA software.
- Background in nonlinear solid mechanics, including geometric nonlinearity.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement nonlinear FEM algorithms.
- Develop, maintain, enhance, and test linear and nonlinear solvers.
- Create verification models and benchmarking tests.
- Prepare technical documentation and QA procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams.
- Lead design reviews and mentor engineers.
