Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (Node.js, AWS) for a fully remote role. You will shape the technical direction of a product area on an AWS-hosted platform, while staying hands-on and guiding engineering and architecture decisions.

You will partner with end users to translate goals into scalable software, define event-driven service architectures, and mentor teams across the organization. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional work building backend systems
• Proven record designing event-driven microservices architectures in production
• Solid knowledge of AWS-hosted platforms
• History of shipping software to production and owning its operation
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
• Ability to work directly with end users
• Advanced level of English
