Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Distinguished Engineer to set technical direction for a growing AWS-hosted platform. You will translate product goals into working software and influence teams while owning the architecture and engineering practices for event-driven services on AWS.

You will collaborate with end users to clarify requirements, mentor engineers, and drive AI-assisted development across the delivery cycle in a 100% remote environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend system development with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of event-driven microservices architectures, designed in production.
• Extensive experience with AWS-hosted platforms and operating software in production.
• Ability to work directly with end users and take software to production with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a product capability from design through delivery and ongoing operation.
• Deliver working software aligned with product goals.
