BairesDev is seeking a Principal Python Engineer to design the APIs and services powering a product used by millions. This hands-on role offers full ownership from design through deployment and the opportunity to build consumer-facing systems at scale with a product and design team focused on getting details right.

You will design and build backend services on AWS serverless, own features end-to-end, design APIs for web and mobile apps, and model data in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.

Formación

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with Python.
• Hands-on AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• IaC experience with CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Proficiency in microservices and event-driven architecture.

In this role, you'll design the APIs and services that power the web and mobile experiences of a product used by millions of collectors. This is a hands‑on position where your full ownership, from design through deployment, directly shapes how customers interact with the platform. What You'll Do

What We Are Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Proficiency in microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
