Job summary

Verint Systems Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead development for the Common Real Time System (CRTS).

You will guide architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure delivery deadlines while collaborating with a globally distributed team across time zones. Required: 8+ years in architecture and development of large-scale applications; 7+ years with Go and Java; strong cloud and container tech (AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications

8 years of overall experience in architecture, design and development of large-scale applications.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
7 years experience with Go and Java.
5 years experience with Pulsar, NATS, Valkey or similar technology.
5 years experience in cloud-based product development, microservices, API and event-driven development.
5 years experience with SDLC and agile/iterative methodologies; developer by nature.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and evaluate cloud-based technologies against product requirements.
Provide technical leadership shaping design and architecture of major components.
Produce documentation to ensure scalability and reusability across the application.
