Job summary

FINRA is seeking a senior backend specialist to deliver long-term outcomes with autonomy, reporting to the Director. The role requires deep expertise in unstructured data processing, backend design, and cloud-native architectures.

You will craft scalable systems, drive performance, and contribute to DevOps practices across the team; a strong foundation in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or related discipline with extensive related experience.
• Mastery level in system design, object-oriented development, and cloud technologies.
• Strong background in performance optimization and DevOps/CI/CD.
• Experience with modern data storage technologies and security practices.
• Ability to design scalable backend, data pipelines and metadata ingestion.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop industry-leading backend solutions meeting quality standards.
• Lead large-scale unstructured data processing pipelines with OCR and NLP.
• Architect scalable, enterprise-grade document ingestion and persistence systems.
• Implement and maintain cloud-native architectures on AWS, enabling DevOps culture.
