Job summary
FINRA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support DIVER, BDSQL, METASTOR and FASTOLA. Under minimal supervision, you will develop software products and improve quality across the software development life cycle.
You will design, implement and maintain core systems, provide technical leadership, collaborate across teams, and help shape architecture while ensuring performance and reliability in production environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline with at least 5 years of related experience
- Strong object-oriented development experience
- Experience with cloud technologies and data storage technologies
- Experience in performance tuning and DevOps/CI-CD
- Experience in test automation and software security
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain DIVER, BDSQL, METASTOR & FASTOLA
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- Ensure code quality, performance optimization and best practices
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical strategy
- Support production systems and troubleshoot complex issues
- Deliver team goals on time with high quality
