Job summary

SAIC's Solutions & Technology Group seeks a Principal Level Software Developer to design, build, and deploy an advanced Agentic AI Platform. You will work across the full stack, delivering modern web interfaces and robust backend services, while shaping cloud infrastructure on AWS and IaC pipelines.

Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, architects, and product owners to translate requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions, mentor junior developers, and ensure security and quality across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering plus 9 years of experience or a Master's with 7 years of experience.
• Must pass CompTIA Security+ within 270 days of employment.
• U.S. Citizen, no dual citizenship; ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Experience building front-end apps with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience developing backend services and APIs with Python, Java, or NodeJS.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative agile skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end web applications with modern web tech.
• Build responsive UIs and polished user experiences.
• Develop backend REST services and business logic for platform capabilities.
• Contribute to agentic AI components and integration with LangChain/LangGraph/LangSmith.
• Support cloud-based services on AWS using OpenSearch, SageMaker, Lambda, SQS.
• Create and maintain IaC with Terraform, Packer, Terragrunt.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, architects, and product owners.
• Assist testing, debugging, performance tuning, and documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and promote secure coding practices.
