Job summary

Philips is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for the Azurion Eye program based in Plymouth, MN. You will lead data-driven, ML-enabled workflows in clinical imaging, collaborating with AI/ML engineers and cross-functional teams to improve workflows and efficiency.

You will apply strong C++ programming, develop messaging features for IntraSight-Azurian integration, and drive architecture and risk-management activities in a regulated medical-device environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of software development experience, including 10+ years of C++ development.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into software platforms and optimizing intelligent workflows.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into medical imaging and system integration features.
• Develop clinical and messaging features enabling integration between IntraSight and Azurion systems.
• Break down requirements into BDD scenarios and contribute to Agile planning and delivery.
• Apply architecture, design, coding and integration practices aligned with the software platform.
• Lead software documentation and participate in risk management activities per regulatory requirements.
