Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to design and build full-stack AI-powered analytics applications for supply chain and operations. This senior individual-contributor role shapes application strategy, builds front-end and back-end services, and embeds AI features into production products.

You will mentor junior engineers, partner with BI developers and a platform architect, and lead projects of moderate to high complexity toward reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
Minimum of 8 years hands-on experience building and shipping full-stack applications to production.
Master's degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications across the full software lifecycle.
Build responsive front ends and back-end services deployed to the cloud.
Embed AI features and integrate ML models into production applications.
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with BI developers and platform architects.
