Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to design and build full-stack AI-powered analytics applications for supply chain and operations. You will develop front-end and back-end services, embed AI features, and lead junior engineers to deliver production-grade solutions.

You will partner with BI developers and platform architects, shaping the application roadmap and driving high-quality, reliable software across the stack. In-person orientation is required on Day 1.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience building and shipping full-stack applications to production.
• Experience embedding ML models, LLM APIs, and agentic workflows into production applications.
• Strong mentoring and collaboration skills with BI developers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications and services across the full software lifecycle.
• Build responsive front ends and back-end services deployed to the cloud.
• Own CI/CD, automated testing, and version-control workflows.
• Mentor junior software engineers and BI developers.
• Partner with BI leadership on the application roadmap and with stakeholders on requirements.
