Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Principal Software Engineer to design and build full-stack AI-enabled analytics for supply chain and operations. You will deliver cloud-based front ends and back-end services, embed ML models and LLM APIs, and lead junior engineers toward production-grade features.

A hands-on senior contributor, you will shape the AI application strategy and collaborate with BI leadership on the roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience building and shipping full-stack applications to production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications across the full software lifecycle.
• Build responsive front ends and back-end services deployed to the cloud.
• Optimize application performance; monitor errors, latency, and usage with root-cause analysis.
• Embed AI features with ML/LLM integration and semantic search capabilities.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and BI developers; translate business problems into plans.
• Establish CI/CD, testing, and secure-by-default practices; enforce coding standards.
