Oracle in Santa Clara is seeking a senior engineer to lead the design, implementation, testing, and operation of OCI Queue distributed messaging capabilities. You will work to improve durability, performance, scalability, availability, and recovery, while providing technical direction and mentoring across teams.

The role requires Java or Go proficiency, strong distributed-systems fundamentals, and the ability to lead complex engineering work, collaborate on APIs, testing, CI/CD, and production

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related discipline, or comparable experience.
• At least six years developing production software with distributed systems or cloud services.
• Proficiency in Java or Go.
• Strong distributed-systems fundamentals and software engineering skills.
• Experience with APIs, testing, CI/CD, and production operations.
• Ability to lead complex engineering work.
