ARCHER seeks an experienced engineering leader to architect, implement, and evolve scalable distributed systems and platform services for OCI Networking in Seattle. You will guide design and execution across teams, ensuring robust, operable cloud infrastructure.

You will mentor engineers, drive technical leadership across Oracle organizations, and champion high-availability, production-grade services with strong CS fundamentals. This is a hands-on leadership role.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong CS fundamentals and familiarity with routing protocols, CI/CD, and release automation.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

Job description

Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and evolution of scalable distributed systems and platform services for OCI Networking, including routing, workload placement, and fleet lifecycle management. Collaborate across Oracle organizations, provide technical leadership and mentorship, and promote reliable, operable cloud infrastructure.

Requirements:

Requires 10 or more years of experience building large-scale distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, networking software, or systems software, along with strong computer science fundamentals and experience operating production-grade services. Candidates should have familiarity with routing protocols, CI/CD and release automation experience, demonstrated technical leadership, and a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
