Snowflake is seeking an engineer to design, build, and operate scalable distributed systems for scheduling, queueing, dispatch, and warehouse-backed workloads. You will improve reliability, performance, and capacity management while leading cross-functional initiatives and ensuring operational readiness.

Candidates should have substantial experience with large-scale distributed services, strong systems programming fundamentals, and cloud exposure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Qualifications

• Design and support large-scale fault-tolerant distributed services.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is expected.
• Java fluency preferred; BS in CS or equivalent required.

Description du poste

Design, build, and operate scalable distributed systems for scheduling, queueing, dispatching, and completing warehouse-backed workloads. Improve reliability, performance, fairness, and capacity management while leading cross-functional initiatives and ensuring operational readiness.

Requirements:

Candidates should have substantial experience designing and supporting large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed services and control planes, along with strong systems programming, operating-system, and computer-science fundamentals. Experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is expected; Java fluency is preferred, and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience is required, with an advanced degree considered a plus.
