Job summary

Rivet Operations Company LLC is seeking a Principal Software Developer to design, build, and sustain applications and data services at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina. You will lead software development, systems design, RMF compliance, and support for ALD software and warehouse automation.

Responsibilities include implementing data pipelines, APIs, and web pages, providing training, and enforcing secure foundations.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Experience developing, designing, implementing, testing, and evaluating software and systems.
• Experience with data pipelines, database schema, and API development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and provide helpdesk support for ALD software.
• Develop and maintain supply warehouse automation software, and design and maintain ALD web pages and applications.
• Create and maintain comprehensive help files for all developed software and apply knowledge of multiple coding languages.
• Produce static code reviews and participate in the RMF process for all developed software.
• Analyze and identify root causes of technical issues, triage them, and provide timely workarounds and solutions.
• Provide training to ALD staff on office productivity software and daily end-user support for all developed applications.
• Enforce secure system foundations in support of the RMF, by translating compliance frameworks into technical requirements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and how they apply to DoD operational security (OPSEC) policy.
