Job summary

Rivet seeks an Intermediate AI Engineer to lead AI/ML, software, and cloud technical initiatives at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina.

You will define the overall technical architecture for ALD software, implement secure CI/CD pipelines, design and train ML models for predictive maintenance, perform data engineering on large datasets, and ensure DoD RMF and OPSEC compliance while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Experience designing, building, testing, and deploying ML models and AI applications.
• Proficiency with Python and SQL.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead technical architecture for ALD software, AI/ML, and cloud systems.
• Establish coding standards, development methodologies, and QA processes.
• Design, train, and improve ML models for predictive maintenance.
• Perform advanced data engineering and feature extraction on large-scale datasets.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain secure applications and infrastructure on government-owned infrastructure.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Integrate language models into existing software.
• Enforce data privacy and perform vulnerability patching to support RMF.
• Ensure AI tools and techniques are authorized under DoD OPSEC policy and standards.
