Job summary

Foundation Health is seeking an accomplished architect to own architecture across several product areas and design systems that can grow 10–100x without a rewrite. You’ll take the hardest problems in the company and build first versions in collaboration with product and engineering.

This role emphasizes AI safety, deep EHR integration with Epic workflows, cost and latency tradeoffs, and a pragmatic approach to evolving a platform used by major health systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on architectural leadership of large-scale systems.
• Production experience with LLMs, agents, and tooling.
• Ability to ship robust platforms under regulatory constraints.

Responsibilities

• Own platform architecture across multiple product areas; design scalable systems.
• Lead AI engineering practices, including model selection and evaluation methodologies.
• Mentor engineers and drive cross-team initiatives to improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate directly with VP of Engineering and CEO to shape technology strategy.
