Job summary

RTX seeks a Principal Systems Engineer in Aurora, CO to lead Integration and Test for automated testing of real-time ground software systems. You will develop test plans, execute verification activities, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure mission-critical performance.

You will join the SI&T team, support customer test events, and coordinate with senior leadership on system development and test execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting software integration and test activities on government software programs.
• Experience developing, executing, and integrating automated tests.
• Scripting with Python and/or Perl.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Experience with Agile development and tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).

Responsibilities

• Execute the program's test strategy, including test process development, baseline definition, test architecture, verification, and validation activities.
• Support full lifecycle integration and testing of real-time ground software systems, including software installation, test execution, regression testing, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and multi-vendor teams to integrate, validate, and verify software releases from upstream development teams.
• Support customer-led mission test events and system-level integration activities.
• Partner with Raytheon senior leadership, government customers, and technical subject matter experts to support system development, integration, and test execution.
• Contribute to Agile software development activities as part of a collaborative, cross-functional program team.
