Job summary

Nyla Technology Solutions is seeking an AI/RAG Software Engineer in Maryland to design, develop, deploy, and support Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems in a high-performance Linux environment. You will work with LLMs, embedding models, and containerized architectures, ensuring secure, scalable production readiness.

The role requires strong Python, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD experience, plus a keen focus on DevSecOps and observability practices in mission-critical settings.

Qualifications

• Proven Linux environments experience with advanced CLI and admin tasks.
• Hands-on Python development with solid design pattern knowledge.
• Knowledge of LLMs, RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector stores.
• Experience packaging and deploying in containerized environments.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes resources and Helm charts.
• CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or equivalent tools.
• Monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana; observability focus.
• Understanding of SDLC, security scanning, and DevSecOps practices.
• Git workflows with code reviews and PRs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and support RAG/AI solutions in HPC Linux.
• Work with LLM orchestration, embedding models, and vector DBs.
• Build secure CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment.
• Ensure production readiness with monitoring and security checks.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable systems.
