Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Principal Security Software Engineer in the Enterprise Security team to design and build production-grade security software spanning IAM, policy enforcement, and security integrations that scale with the business. You will partner across InfoSec, Corporate Engineering, DevOps and Product to advance security initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience combining SWE and security.
• Deep understanding of Identity and Authentication protocols like OAuth 2.0, SCIM 2.0, SAML 2.0, FIDO2/WebAuthn.
• Experience with policy-as-code or authorization frameworks (OPA/Rego, Cedar, Zanzibar/ReBAC).
• Proficiency in at least one backend language: Python, Go, Rust.
• Knowledge of secure-by-design engineering, session management and audit logging.

Responsibilities

• Build identity and access systems across Roblox's IAM ecosystem.
• Own authorization at scale with fine-grained policy models.
• Lead identity for agentic AI, including token flows and access controls.
• Drive secure-by-design implementations with cross-functional teams.
