Roblox is hiring a Senior Security Software Engineer to build our next-gen IAM for humans and AI agents, spanning on-prem and cloud. You will shape credentialing, session management, and least-privilege access across production systems.

You will design scalable IAM solutions, implement workload authentication, and maintain a secure golden path for developers. This role emphasizes end-to-end ownership in Roblox's security tooling.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience building scalable backend applications.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, C++, or C# .NET.
• AI fluency: comfortable with AI tools, LLM capabilities, and AI identity concepts.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, design patterns, and scalable containerized systems.
• Experience mentoring or leading other engineers.
• Familiarity with policy/identity frameworks for cloud-native environments.
• Experience with PKI and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
• Familiarity with RBAC/ABAC or Risk-Based Access Control.

Responsibilities

• Design Identity and Access for AI Agents: define credentials, scoped permissions, and lifecycle management for AI agents.
• Engineer scalable Production IAM for Roblox's hybrid environment spanning on-premises and cloud.
• Develop and manage workload authentication and authorization for services and workloads.
• Establish a secure golden path framework enabling developers with IAM controls by default.
• Own end-to-end responsibility to develop security services within Roblox infrastructure.
