Job summary

Zscaler, a leader in cloud security, is seeking a Principal - Integration Engineer (Security Platform and Data Pipelines) for a remote US-based role reporting to the Senior Director, Engineering. You will connect and onboard diverse cybersecurity data sources, map and normalize security data to support exposure and threat management use cases, and customize workflows to deliver measurable outcomes.

This role requires depth with data pipelines and security data sources, plus strong communication

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background with cybersecurity concepts, including vulnerability, exposure, and threat management.
• Hands-on experience managing cybersecurity data pipelines (SIEM, Vulnerability Management platforms) including ingestion, mapping, deduplication, normalization.
• Proven track record integrating security tools and data sources (EDR, VM scanners, CNAPP/CSPM, ticketing/CMDB, cloud logs).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, modeling, parsing, transformations, API interaction, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Foundational knowledge of AI/ML technologies with experience leveraging AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Master the Zscaler SecOps platform and translate customer requirements into integration plans.
• Onboard and map diverse cybersecurity and IT data sources with SMEs to align with customer use cases.
• Own data quality and pipeline integrity by auditing environments and defining remediation steps for customers.
• Leverage Python, APIs, and AI coding agents to configure, customize, and automate data transformations and platform workflows.
• Communicate technical findings to stakeholders and deliver insights to drive product improvements.
