Job summary

Amgen seeks a Principal Scientist in Clinical Pharmacology Modeling and Simulation to lead integrated pharmacology strategies across drug development, informing dose selection and study design. You will work with pharmacometrics, biostatistics, nonclinical development, and regulatory teams to turn data into actionable decisions.

The role requires a PhD/MD/PharmD with extensive experience in population PK/PD, PBPK, and regulatory support, impacting clinical programs and product labeling.

Qualifications

• PhD/PharmD/MD or equivalent advanced degree required.
• Strong leadership and collaboration across functions.
• Experience contributing to regulatory submissions and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical pharmacology from development through registration and post-approval.
• Design and oversee PK/PD, DDI, BA/BE, and PK/PD modeling studies.
• Collaborate with pharmacometrics, statistics, regulatory affairs, and other groups to inform decisions.
