Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Principal Scientist in R&D – Orthopedics & Spine, Growth factors, to lead collaboration with CG BIO and expand the Novosis portfolio. The role focuses on growth factors with bone graft substitutes, spanning development, regulatory and commercialization.

The incumbent will partner with CG BIO, drive technical decisions, and support global launches while aligning with spine and trauma market needs.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in medical device R&D or technical leadership.
• Experience in spine/orthopedic trauma spaces.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for CG BIO partnership and lead external/internal teams.
• Optimize Novosis formulations and procedural kits for spine/trauma.
• Translate surgeon needs into technical specs for CG BIO pipeline.
• Lead development with regulatory, clinical, and reimbursement strategies.
