Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Staff Scientist in Clinical Development & Research to lead and contribute to evidence strategies across NPD and lifecycle projects. You will collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and other partners to advance orthopaedics-focused programs.

The role involves drafting study materials, budgets, and managing site contracts, while ensuring timely, compliant delivery of clinical programs in a field-based US setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical development and research within pharma or medtech is required.
• Ability to develop global EGS/EDS strategies for NPD and LCM.
• Strong collaboration with Clinical R&D and cross-functional partners is essential.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and delivery of Global EGS/EDS for assigned platforms.
• Ensure alignment with MD Clinical R&D leads and key regions.
• Draft protocols, informed consents, and investigator brochures with limited supervision.
• Plan study budgets and manage site contracts and vendor agreements.
• Deliver clinical programs on time and within budget, compliant with regs.
