Job summary
Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Principal Scientist, Advanced Manufacturing, to shape global deployment of cutting-edge manufacturing technologies. You will drive strategy, transfer, and lifecycle deployment across the synthetic drug network, partnering with MSAT, Supply Chain, and Regulatory to deliver measurable value.
You will lead cross-functional teams in process intensification, RTRt, PAT, digital manufacturing, and data-driven solutions while ensuring compliance and strategic alignment
Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Data Science, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in pharmaceutical development or MSAT-related roles.
- Experience leading global deployment of complex manufacturing technologies and technology transfer.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global deployment strategies for advanced manufacturing technologies across the synthetic manufacturing network.
- Lead global deployment of advanced manufacturing and integrated quality technologies following End-to-End Deployment processes.
- Define value propositions and establish metrics to realize business benefits.
- Provide technical leadership and governance across multiple sites and programs.
- Engage with regulatory, development, quality, and site leadership to align on roadmaps.
