Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to design and deliver enterprise integration across SAP and non‑SAP platforms. You will drive technical standards, lead integration initiatives, and mentor engineering teams using SAP Integration Suite (BTP) and MuleSoft.

Based in Salisbury, NC, this hybrid role combines 3 in-person days with 2 remote days. The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis and support the SAP transformation roadmap.

Qualifications

Extensive SAP integration experience within large enterprise transformations.
Experience leading API design, delivery, and governance across platforms.
Hands-on cloud environments and DevOps practices.
Strong communication with stakeholders and mentoring engineers.
Ability to balance delivery priorities with architecture standards.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, deploy, and support enterprise-grade software solutions.
Lead analysis, design, and code reviews for major components.
Develop production-ready code and automated tests.
Guide CI/CD and DevOps maturity improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical designs.
Mentor engineers and lead integration delivery across platforms.
