Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Sales Integrations to design, build, and configure the connections between store-facing sales systems (POS and ECOM) and SAP. You will own end-to-end technical design, drive integration pipelines via SAP Integration Suite, and ensure accurate inventory and transaction data across channels.

This hybrid role requires 3 in-person days at Salisbury, NC, and 2 remote days, with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and collaboration

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Software Engineering or related field.
7-10 years of software engineering experience with increasing responsibility.
3 full-cycle SAP implementations involving SAP CAR, POS, and ECOM.
Experience designing/configuring integrations using SAP Integration Suite.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and configure integrations between POS/ECOM and SAP using SAP Integration Suite.
Develop and maintain Real-Time Inventory integrations across POS, ECOM, and SAP.
Implement Omnichannel Article Availability (OAA) and Omnichannel Stock Availability (OSA) solutions with SAP CAR.
Configure SAP CAR/S/4 IS-Retail settings to support store and digital sales processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in sales integration pipelines to minimize failures.
Collaborate with analysts and store ops to translate requirements into technical designs.
Design and execute unit, integration, and performance tests for sales integrations.
Monitor integration performance and health across data flows; document architectures and runbooks.
Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and rollouts involving SAP CAR, SAP Integration Suite, POS/ECOM.
