Infosys Limited in the United States is seeking a Principal SAP Applications & AI Automation Consultant to lead SAP-centric enterprise solutions and Generative AI initiatives across the Retail, Consumer Goods, and Logistics sector.

You will define architectures, drive large-scale integrations, oversee data migrations, and ensure security/compliance while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-impact ERP enhancements.

In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 3, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Analyze complex business processes to identify optimization opportunities and draft detailed requirement specifications that align with enterprise architecture standards
• Define and develop solution architecture, steering customization and integration efforts based on thorough business analysis
• Design and implement advanced customizations basis ERP platform's capabilities and limitations and develop critical software applications in collaboration with the development team
• Develop and implement complex integration workflows to connect the ERP system with external applications, while leading large-scale data migration strategies to ensure data integrity
• Implement advanced performance optimization strategies focused on scalability, reliability, and user experience, while leading compliance initiatives throughs audits, to uphold security protocols and industry standards
• Develop detailed documentation for complex ERP customizations and lead training workshops tailored to various user groups, to ensure effective knowledge transfer

Required Skill and Experience

1. SAP-Centric Enterprise Solutions

• Develop and support solutions with SAP as the system of record/core ERP platform.
• Build extensions and integrations around SAP using SAP BTP, Integration Suite, APIs, and cloud technologies.
• Support SAP business processes through intelligent automation and integration with surrounding enterprise applications.
• Contribute to SAP cloud development and Clean Core-aligned extension approaches.
• Support technical analysis, design, testing, defect resolution, and deployment across SAP-related initiatives.

2. SAP BTP & Enterprise Integration

• Develop and maintain integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Integrate SAP with Microsoft, CRM, ITSM, data, cloud, and other enterprise platforms using REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and enterprise connectors.
• Support end-to-end troubleshooting across SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Participate in SIT, integration validation, defect management, and technical coordination across functional and technical teams.

3. Generative AI & Agentic AI

• Design AI agents and agentic workflows for enterprise use cases around SAP and connected business applications.
• Leverage LLMs, prompt engineering, tool calling, and enterprise connectors to automate technical and business activities.
• Explore AI-assisted approaches for application modernization, data analysis, support, workflow automation, and engineering productivity.
• Integrate Generative AI solutions with SAP and surrounding enterprise platforms through APIs and integration services.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Experience working with SAP and surrounding enterprise applications.
• Hands-on exposure to SAP BTP and enterprise integration.
• Experience with AI/GenAI, cloud platforms, APIs, and automation.
• Exposure to enterprise application modernization and data migration.
• SAP and Microsoft cloud/AI certifications are preferred.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
