Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Plantation, FL is seeking a Radio Device System Engineer to design RF transceiver systems for hi-reliability public safety equipment. You will work with mixed-signal SoCs, assess IP, and optimize power and performance across modes.

On-site role in Plantation with collaboration across digital/analog teams. Strong leadership and Verilog/UVM experience are valued as you guide the development from concept to shipping product.

Qualifications

• DBL: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
• Experience with analog/mixed-signal circuits and RF transceivers.
• Ability to model PLL/AGC and multi-loop control systems.
• Proficient with Cadence and verification methodologies (UVM, Verilog).
• Experience with high-speed interfaces and SoC power management.

Responsibilities

• Develop RF transceiver systems using off-the-shelf ICs and CMOS.
• Model and verify block-level specs for radio modems and silicon.
• Collaborate with design, layout, firmware, and test teams to tape-out.
• Lead and mentor technical staff in radio transceiver development.
• Document requirements, operation theory, and test procedures.
