Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Apopka, Florida is seeking an experienced Principal Design Engineer - RF Modules to own RF module designs from concept through production release in a fast-paced, IC‑centric environment.

You will perform circuit-level design, EM simulations, impedance matching, and work with test, manufacturing, and project management to optimize performance, yield, reliability and cost for cellular, GPS, radar and related applications.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics with RF design/electromagnetics focus.
• 2+ years RF module design experience required.
• Experience with MMIC technologies such as GaAs, GaN, RF SOI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Technical ownership of RF module design from inception to production release.
• Circuit-level design and EM simulations for RF sub-systems.
• Impedance matching design, analysis, and test bench tuning.
• Prepare and present technical proposals to customers.
• Collaborate with project managers to meet milestones.
• Characterize prototypes with test engineers to optimize performance, yield, and cost.
