Skyworks Solutions, Inc. seeks a Principal Design Engineer - RF Modules in Apopka, FL to own RF module design from concept to production release for cellular, GPS, radar and satellite applications.

The role requires MS or PhD in EE or Physics with RF focus and 2+ years of RF module design experience. You will perform circuit-level design, EM simulations, impedance matching, and work with test and manufacturing teams to optimize performance and cost.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics with a focus on RF Design/Electromagnetics.
• 2+ years of RF module design experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Own RF module design from inception to production release.
• Perform circuit-level design and EM simulations of RF modules.
• Develop impedance matching and chain analysis for first-pass success.
• Prepare technical proposals and present reviews to customers.
• Collaborate with project managers to meet milestones.
• Characterize prototypes with test engineering and optimize performance and cost.
