Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Irvine, CA seeks a Principal RF Design Engineer, Antennas, to drive RF/mmWave phased array antenna development.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to model, design, and optimize components and BOMs for cost- effective prototypes, while supporting testing and power integrity analyses. The role requires extensive experience with RF/mmWave phased array systems, proficiency in AWR/CST/HFSS, and scripting in Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE with 12+ years of relevant RF/mmWave experience.
• Experience designing RF/mmWave phased array antenna components.
• Experience with AWR, CST or HFSS simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary antenna and PCB teams on mmWave phased arrays.
• Model RF/mmWave components using AWR, CST, or HFSS.
• Design passive components and BOM support for mmWave prototypes.
• Support testing and troubleshooting of mmWave prototypes and circuits.
• Perform power integrity analysis on mmWave boards.
