Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Essex Junction, VT seeks an epitaxy and integration engineer to join the RF Technology Development Organization. The role focuses on developing CVD Si/SiGe epitaxial processes and driving integration optimization to meet performance and yield targets.

You will collaborate with module engineers, FA teams, and customers, establishing test structures and improving device performance and manufacturability through continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
• Hands-on epitaxial growth experience, silicon or III-V.
• GPA at least 3.0 and good academic standing.
• English language fluency (written & verbal).

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and qualify CVD Si/SiGe epitaxial processes.
• Define epitaxial growth conditions and controls for performance and manufacturability.
• Develop, optimize and qualify FEOL devices and processes.
• Drive integration optimization using DOE, statistics, and yield learning.
