Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems- Propulsion Division is seeking a Principal / Senior Principal Maintenance Reliability Engineer for our Tooling and Facilities Engineering group at Promontory, UT, with occasional support at other Utah sites. Travel up to 10% is expected. On-site work is required to maintain manufacturing operations.

The role offers a pathway to Level 3 or Level 4, with responsibilities for reliability strategies, CAPEX projects, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Minimum 5–8 years in manufacturing processes or facilities maintenance (level dependent).
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
Experience with CMMS/EAM and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement machine monitoring strategies for reliability centered maintenance.
Review equipment against OEM build protocols and specify critical spare parts.
Prepare presentations and reports on Operational Equipment Effectiveness.
Support plant uptime and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
