Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems- Propulsion Division seeks a Principal/Senior Principal Maintenance Reliability Engineer to join our Tooling and Facilities Engineering group at the Promontory, Utah facility, with occasional travel to other campuses. On-site role with opportunities to influence maintenance strategies and equipment reliability.

The role requires a mechanical/electrical engineering background and experience with CMMS/EAM, data analysis, and reliability concepts; security clearance

Qualifications

5+ years in manufacturing processes or maintenance; 3 years with a Master’s
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or manufacturing engineering
Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance
Experience with CMMS/EAM and equipment data analysis
Proficiency in Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint and PowerBI

Responsibilities

Develop and implement machine monitoring strategies for reliability-centered maintenance
Review equipment and ensure proper preventive maintenance procedures
Prepare presentations and reports on Operational Equipment Effectiveness
Support facility growth with specifications for future equipment purchases
