Job summary
Northrop Grumman Space Systems- Propulsion Division seeks a Principal/Senior Principal Maintenance Reliability Engineer for its Tooling and Facilities Engineering group at the Promontory, Utah facility. The role will support multiple campuses, focusing on reliability-centered maintenance for manufacturing equipment and facilities.
The position emphasizes machine monitoring, data-driven reliability, and collaboration with leadership to drive uptime and asset performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/manufacturing engineering or related field.
- 5+ years in manufacturing/process maintenance; 3 years with Master’s degree for Level 3.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance and CAPEX experience.
- Experience with CMMS/EAM, data analysis, and reliability concepts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine monitoring for reliability centered maintenance.
- Analyze equipment data to predict failures; optimize preventive maintenance.
- Review OEM build protocols; ensure correct maintenance procedures exist.
- Prepare OEE presentations and assist in equipment specification development.
