Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for At-Scale Reliability and Fleet Intelligence within CSP Engagements in Santa Clara, CA. You will lead reliability efforts across multiple CSPs, integrating fleet telemetry with NVIDIA firmware, software, and hardware teams.

You will develop predictive failure models, refine MTBI/MTBF methodologies, and ensure health monitoring aligns with customer operations, enabling scalable, reliable NVIDIA platforms at hyperscale deployments.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in systems software at datacenter scale or reliability engineering with at-scale focus.
BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience with multi-NUMA, rack-scale system software and firmware.

Responsibilities

Drive reliability work streams with CSP engineering teams to ensure MTBI measurement methodology and health monitoring architecture.
Gather and synthesize CSP fleet reliability data to identify cross-customer failure patterns and drive improvements into firmware, driver, and hardware teams.
Define MTBI measurement methodology that works across CSP monitoring environments.
Conduct fleet-scale failure pattern analysis using statistical methods to classify failures as systemic, environmental, or configuration-specific.
Drive fleet health monitoring integration architecture and telemetry alignment with CSP workflows.
Define burn-in reliability test environment and cluster certification criteria in collaboration with quality teams.
