Job summary

Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Reign FC are seeking a Principal Recruiter to lead talent acquisition for both clubs and the RAVE Foundation. You will guide the end-to-end hiring process, design hiring standards with the Chief People Officer, and apply responsible AI to elevate candidate experience and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience including leadership and executive roles
• Proven track record in scaling recruiting processes and systems
• Experience leading confidential executive searches and advising senior leaders
• Structured interviewing, candidate assessment and evaluation expertise
• Hands-on experience with AI/workflow automation in recruiting tools
• Ability to design AI workflows that automate complex processes
• Proficiency with AI assistants and automation platforms with human oversight
• Experience partnering with leadership on hiring strategy and workforce planning
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-team influence
• Knowledge of federal, state and local hiring laws and compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead talent acquisition for Seattle Sounders FC, Seattle Reign FC, and the RAVE Foundation across all hires
• Run complex, discreet searches and build relationships with leaders and candidates
• Define role expectations with leadership and assess candidates using evidence-based methods
• Advise executives on workforce planning, priorities, and talent decisions
• Institute consistent, inclusive hiring standards with the Chief People Officer
• Lead responsible AI, automation, and recruiting tech to improve efficiency
• Develop recruiting metrics and reporting to inform decisions
• Coach hiring managers and align recruiting with business needs
• Build proactive pipelines for both clubs and mentor the Senior HR Generalist and P&C partners
