Qualifications

• 5 Years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3 Years with a Master's; 0 Years with PhD (Principal level)
• 9 Years with Bachelor's; 7 Years with Master’s; 4 Years with PhD (Sr Principal level)
• C/C++, MATLAB (can be substituted with Python, Mathematica, or similar)
• Active Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Write high-performance, embedded code using C++ and C.
• Develop radar signal-processing, target tracking, and sensor-fusion algorithms.
• Take data measurements from radar sensors
• Remove biases from the sensors and correct them to improve tracking and alignment
• Fielding questions and briefing team members about how the system works
• 50% C/C++ programming / 50% performing analyses, troubleshooting, and explaining the “why”
• Computations for the algorithm formulas for tracking, bias, and data fusion for platforms such as fixed-wing aircraft, missiles, and drones
