RTX is seeking a Senior Radar Software Engineer for an onsite role in Huntsville, AL. You will support the SDLC across requirements, design, development (C/C++), testing, validation, and maintenance of radar software.

Responsibilities include collaborating with agile teams, debugging for performance, and producing comprehensive documentation while staying abreast of AI and DevSecOps developments in defense systems.

Qualifications

Typically requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience using C++ on a Linux/Unix platform.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government interim secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional, agile teams to define, design, and implement new features for radar software.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance in complex environments.
Write and maintain documentation for software applications, system architecture, and design specs.
Participate in product reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
Stay current with industry trends in AI, DevSecOps, and modern development methods.
