Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Principal Radar Modeling Simulation & Analysis Systems Engineer to advance modeling of RF, EOIR, and radar systems.

Based in Linthicum, MD, you will apply C++ object-oriented design, MATLAB, and scripting across Linux/Windows to build models, run experiments, and verify performance against system requirements. Clearance and SAP access are required for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree inScience, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical field with 5 years experience, or Master’s with 3 years, or Ph.D. with 1 year.
• U.S. Citizenship is required and an active U.S. Government Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access.
• Experience with simulations of RF, EOIR, Communications or related systems.
• Experience with MATLAB and radar modeling toolsets.

Responsibilities

• Develop models and simulations of platforms, sensors, weapons and their interactions with the environment.
• Utilize Modeling, Simulation, Experimentation, and Analysis (MSE&A) to verify system performance.
• Develop sensor simulations and verify performance against system requirements.
• Develop, integrates, and uses advanced graphical user interfaces and visualization tools.
