Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Principal Radar Modeling, Simulation & Analysis Systems Engineer (or Senior Principal) to join our Mission Systems team on site. You will develop advanced models of radar platforms, sensors, and interactions, integrating MS&A with flight software and collecting/test data from lab and flight tests.

Strong C/C++, Python, and MATLAB skills are essential. The role requires U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience (or Master’s 3+ years; PhD 1+ year) in engineering/CS fields.
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain DoD secret clearance.
• Experience with C/C++, Python, Bash or C shell scripting on Linux/Windows.
• Experience in RF/EOIR/Comms simulations and DSP.
• Experience with MATLAB for analytical modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate MS&A for radar, sensors, and related systems.
• Create and validate models, simulations, and analysis tools.
• Produce publication-quality reports to support V&V and accreditation.
• Collaborate across teams to improve MSE&A software frameworks and methods.
