Atom Computing seeks a Principal Technical Program Manager in Boulder, CO, to steer operation and upgrades of neutral atom quantum computing hardware while coordinating a portfolio of research efforts aligned with the company roadmap.

With 10+ years in systems engineering or R&D program management at deep-tech firms, you will lead cross-functional teams, manage risks, and drive metrics. Expect an annual bonus and equity alongside a strong compensation package.

Formación

• 10+ years of systems engineering, quantum, and/or R&D program management experience at multi-disciplinary, deep tech companies.
• Proven track record delivering early-stage deep tech programs from inception to delivery.
• Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams and with technical management teams.

Responsabilidades

• Provide program management for operation and upgrades of existing neutral atom quantum computing hardware.
• Manage a portfolio of research projects to advance the Atom Computing roadmap and deliver on capabilities for future system generations.
• Collaborate with scientific, engineering, and business owners to define program requirements and set priorities.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, and changes by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive technical analysis, development, testing, and implementation phases.
• Define and track metrics and KPIs and drive cross-functional execution of deliverables.
• Develop and own communication plans to report status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
• Identify and analyze complex technical problems with engineering leadership to find solutions.
• Advise on the Atom Computing roadmap based on hardware progress and research projects.
• Coordinate with technical managers and other program managers to balance team time for advanced tech vs main processor line development.
