Crctech is seeking a seasoned Quality Control Inspector to develop and revise QC inspection plans for electrical and I&C systems, ensuring alignment with design outputs, codes, and standards.
The role includes field inspections, documenting results, issuing NCRs, and verifying compliance against drawings and specs; experience with ASME NQA-1 and DOE clearance are preferred; extensive travel may be required.
Long Term (1 Year Contract with two 1-Year Extension options)
Develop, revise, and perform peer reviews of Quality Control Inspection Plans related to electrical and I&C, in accordance with Design Output documents, Codes, and Standards.
Perform field related inspections in accordance with Quality Control Inspection Plans. Document inspection results on applicable inspection records and issue Non-Conformance reports as required.
Review product and process compliance with all specified drawings, specifications, and other requirements through inspection and/or review of supplied materials and equipment
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and at least 8 - 10 years of practical experience in construction inspection or related areas. An associate's degree and 10 - 12 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent. A high school diploma and 12 - 16 years of practical experience would also be considered equivalent. Certification with continuing technical training is required for performance of inspections and surveillance activities.
Prior work experience working under an ASME NQA-1 quality program.
Well-developed organizational skills with good communication skills.
Practical field experience in electrical and instrumentation and controls (I&C) quality control within the last 16 months.
Prior experience on an Engineering procurement construction (EPC) contract.
Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years are preferred.

Expense Reimbursement: Expense reimbursement is available for out-of-town candidates. Expenses are reimbursed per U.S. GSA FY 2026 per diem rates for Aiken/Greenville, South Carolina ($178/day)
